alt.ctrl.GDC Release!

alt.ctrl.GDC Release
Hello!
As you may or may not know, Sashimi Slayer exhibited as a finalist at alt.ctrl.GDC this year, a showcase of alternative controllers at the Game Developer’s Conference. A lot of people had fun playing the game w/ the sword!
(You can find all the finalist games here)
While the game and the builds posted here have been updated incrementally throughout the last year or so of development, this dev log marks a “release” version of the game (or as much as an alternate control game can be ‘released’) - the alt.ctrl.GDC release!
This version includes
- 2 full levels and their crazy cool soundtracks (Fish School and The Kraken)
- Basic Mouse + Keyboard Support
- Custom Sword controller Support
- Fewer Bugs
- More juice and SFX and VFX (than previous versions)
Open Source
All of the code and assets are available and properly under the CC-BY-NC-SA license!

What now?
We plan to keep working on the game up until the start of August. The goal is to add new levels and experiment with additional sword mechanics, plus the usual bug fixes and QOL things. We’re also submitting to Indiecade, so wish us luck!
The hardware circuit diagram / part list is being properly documented, and will be posted in the near future in the repository README.
